CASTLE LAKE

11,500 SF Living Space / Traditional

This project was conceptualized as a rediscovered historic farmhouse — a remnant of the past, carefully uncovered and restored.

Located high above a monumental body of water, the design unfolds in a linear arrangement that orients all interior and covered exterior spaces toward the view. The home extends naturally from the mountainside, resting on a substantial stone plinth that elevates the structure and strengthens its connection to the land. Raw natural materials and darker tones evoke antiquity and authenticity, creating a timeless mountain gathering place where memories are made.
