ENCOMPASS

Set on a gently sloping site where the landscape falls away below and rises toward the road above, Encompass is shaped to capture views in both directions while preserving a sense of seclusion. The home steps down the hillside to meet a low height limit, using the entry volume as a natural screen for the primary living spaces below. At its center, an open landscaped courtyard—encircled by glass breezeways—draws the existing terrain into the heart of the house, inviting both inhabitants and the surrounding nature to move through it with ease.
