TAWODI

6,500 SF Living Space / Modern

Inspired by repeated early-morning site visits from a Red-tailed Hawk (Tawodi), this design draws meaning from the bird’s symbolism as a spiritual messenger and guide between heaven and earth in Ute tradition.

The roof form captures the dynamic motion of landing and taking flight, translating those powerful moments into architectural expression. The result is a home that feels both grounded and uplifted — responsive to the land and guided by it.
